Trial Lessons
Our Helicopter Trial Lessons
consist of a pre-flight briefing to explain the basic
principles of flying a helicopter. This is followed by
a 30 minute or 1 hour flying lesson with an experienced
instructor, during which time you will be able to take
control yourself. A Trial Lesson is an ideal introduction
to helicopters by giving you what is probably your first
experience of piloting a helicopter. It provides a glimpse
into the exciting and challenging world of rotary wing
flight.
The package includes a
briefing from your instructor, followed by a 30 minute
or 1 hour flight. You will be shown level flying, turns
and how to hover. If you want to continue with our full
flying course, this first lesson will count towards your
PPL(H). Prices are £190pp
for a half hour lesson or £275pp
for the one hour flight.
